Salary: Bucks Pay Range 2 - point 11 FTE £19,467, actual salary £13,148 pa

Working Pattern: Term time only 30.5hrs per week

The Role
• Work on a one to one basis with a specific pupil, your contract will be linked to this pupil.
• To assist with the planning, preparation, and development of work programmes for the individual pupil.
• Prepare resources to support a range of learning activities by enabling the pupils learning; organise and maintain the learning environment, and take responsibility for aspects of the pupil’s progress and organisation.
• You will monitor, evaluate and record the pupil’s progress and report this as directed. Post Covid you will provide support to the teacher by accompanying the pupils on offsite activities.

Key responsibilities:
• The successful candidate must have awareness of safeguarding protocol. Safeguarding training will be provided.• Ideally candidates should have a teaching assistant qualification – minimum NVQ level 2. We are however willing consider other experiences.
• The ideal candidate will have a good standard of written and spoken English, and Maths skills at a suitable level to support children up to Key Stage 2.
• Experience of working with children is desirable, but not essential as support and training will be provided.
