Inclusion Administration Support, Reading

Salary: WBC Grade D5 £18,795 pa (pro-rata approximately £13,930.00)

Working Pattern: Required from September 202032.5 hours per week (term time only plus 2 inset days)

Description:

The Inclusion department at Little Heath is one that supports a wide range of pupils both inside and outside the classroom. The department provides support with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), learning, disengagement and social and emotional needs. The successful candidate will work with Inclusion leaders to ensure an excellent level of service for the wider school community.

The person we are seeking will:
• Assist the Inclusion Support Officer in providing full Administration Support to the Inclusion Team.
• Administer the school’s On Call systems, working with all staff at the school.
• Keep daily, weekly and termly records of the school’s support systems.
• Support procedures, including contact with parents, collection of work and necessary follow-up non-attendance.
• Ensure the smooth running of our daily support for pupils who need provision outside their usual classroom routine.
• Support the Inclusion department with pupils who access the department.

Little Heath School is a highly successful comprehensive school (1610 on roll, including 320 in the Sixth Form) situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the west of Reading, with good access to road and rail links.
