This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to lead a vibrant and strong department. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to inspire students and staff. Excellent knowledge of art and design is required, as well as an enthusiastic commitment to extracurricular activities, outreach and cross-curricular opportunities. The post would suit a practitioner with expertise in 2D visual skills such as painting, photography or printmaking.

The post is available from January 2021 and involves teaching across the age and ability range from Year 7 to Year 13. In addition to teaching, the post-holder will also have pastoral responsibilities within their allocated year group.

All teaching staff are expected to contribute to the pastoral and enrichment programmes of the School. All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students, in accordance with the School’s safeguarding policies.
