Founded in 1807, Mill Hill School is an independent co-educational boarding and day school with 780 pupils aged between 13 and 18, of which 286 in the Sixth Form. Newly opened in September 2015, The Mount, Mill Hill International is a co-educational boarding and day school with just under 100 pupils aged between 13 and 17 and offers a traditional British education and academic curriculum up to GCSE with specialist EAL teaching.
The Schools are both part of The Mill Hill School Foundation, which comprises Pre-preparatory, Preparatory, Senior School and International School. Situated in a magnificent parkland campus on the edge of the North London Green Belt, The Mill Hill School Foundation provides a wonderful environment in which to work.
The Chief Executive, and the Heads of Mill Hill School and The Mount, Mill Hill International, with the Governors of The Mill Hill School Foundation, are seeking to appoint a Mill Hill School Foundation Head of Boarding.
The appointee will be a dynamic and collaborative educator with the academic credentials, pastoral vision and leadership qualities to inspire the Mill Hill boarding community. A person of exemplary experience and quality is required who will bring imagination and innovation to the Schools’ Senior Leadership teams.
Set within a wonderful 150-acre campus, our five purpose-built Boarding Houses provide the space for 195 full and weekly boarders. Pupils are welcomed from many backgrounds and locations in the UK and around the world. While three of our Boarding Houses are co-educational, we have two new smaller single sex Boarding Houses for girls and boys housed separately. The Boarding Houses are shared between boarders from Mill Hill School and The Mount, Mill Hill International with a close working relationship existing between the Senior Leadership of both schools.
