Cover Manager and Student Services Receptionist, Reading
Location: Reading RG6 7HS
Salary: Grade 4, SP7 (actual from £16,983.26 per annum)
Working Pattern: Full time • Permanent • Required as soon as possible

37 hours per week, five days a week, term time only plus five INSET days, starting at 7.15am – 3.15pm
We are now looking for a Cover Manager and Student Services Receptionist at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading. Our school is an ambitious, over-subscribed 11 – 16 secondary school in an urban context which is as committed to the welfare of students and staff as it is our high-quality education. Day-to-day responsibilities for this post will include:•Managing the daily cover requirements of the school.•Monitoring staff absence.•Managing the student services reception, including assistance with First Aid.•Providing admin and cover support to the various school admin teams.
The successful applicant will be energetic and enthusiastic and enjoy working with 11 – 16-year olds. Whilst experience is not necessary, you must have a good standard of literacy, be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and good sense of humour and be able to work as part of team. You will enjoy nurturing young people to grow in confidence and flourish personally.
