Teacher of Chemistry

Salary: MPS (plus possible TLR)

The Wellington Academy is a highly inclusive, innovative school, which opened in 2009 to serve the Tidworth area of Wiltshire and is situated on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, within close proximity of the A303 and A34. Graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the Wellington Academy has transformed itself into a high performing school over the past three years.

We are looking to appoint a teacher of Chemistry who:

• Has a passion for science

• Has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills

• Has a track record of raising achievement in science

• Has a commitment to inclusive education

• Can build positive relationships with all learners

• Can work effectively within a team context.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant and successful department. There is a potential Subject Leader opportunity for Chemistry for the right candidate. An experience of teaching A level Chemistry is desirable although not a necessity. The role would suit an experienced teacher or NQT.
