‘Committed to Gospel Values’
We are commanded by Jesus to bring his Good News to every generation. Our Community will be inspired by the Good News: the message that every one of us is a creation of God, specially and uniquely gifted. It follows that we each have a special value and therefore we must always treat each other with respect and tolerance. We are taught in the Gospels how to forgive and to deal with any differences and disputes that may arise. Jesus empowered the importance of the gifts of Faith, Hope and Charity: itis these gifts that we want to bring alive in every person in our school so that we are truly a Christian community of learning.
Our Vision for all the students in our community at Blessed Hugh Faringdon Catholic School is that they gain the fullness of life of which Jesus spoke. All our efforts are directed to everyone achieving happy and fulfilled lives. Therefore, we will focus on and seek to nurture all students’ gifts and talents so that they can gain the very best from their time in our school. We want students to achieve their full potential whether it be in the classroom, on the games field, on the stage or in their examinations. Every child matters in our school and educating our students and ensuring that they grow up to lead safe, happy, spiritual, healthy and successful lives is at the heart of everything we do.
