Description:

With proven experience gained in a busy accounts department, you’re now looking for a new role as part of a small, friendly and supportive team. So bring your talents to Woldingham School - and join us here in this outstandingly beautiful rural setting that’s still close to London.

Woldingham is a happy and successful boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18. This is a truly unique environment with an equally unique culture and philosophy. Building on a proud heritage that stretches back 175 years, we’re now driving an exciting future that’s underpinned by fresh ideas, an innovative spirit and state-of-the-art facilities – all alive with the creative energy of over 500 young minds.

Now’s your opportunity to be part of that future as you take responsibility for all purchase and ordering activities for the school and its trading subsidiary. That will include maintaining purchase ledgers, overseeing supplier accounts and recording incoming invoices, as well as accepting supply orders, ensuring that they are authorised and placing orders with suppliers. Providing key support to our Financial Controller, you will also produce regular budget reports for department heads and management.

Excellent communication, teamworking and IT skills (particularly using Excel spreadsheets) are all important, along with the ability to think ahead, plan and prioritise your workload. A self-motivated and flexible approach is a must too.

Staff are welcome to use our range of outstanding facilities including the gym, squash and tennis courts and the swimming pool. Our Staffroom Committee organises regular social events, and individual members of staff organise yoga classes and reflexology on site. All staff receive free lunches and coffee too.

Please visit www.woldinghamschool.co.uk/employment-2/non-teaching-vacancies/ to download an application form. Once completed, return it to hr@woldinghamschool.co.uk no later than 9am, Monday 20th November 2017.

Woldingham School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS report will be required for the successful candidate.
