Salary: Teacher’s Pay Scales, London Fringe, + SEN Allowance ‌• Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

Working Pattern: Required for September 2017

Description:

Haybrook College educates young people aged 11 to 19 who have challenging and complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) or medical needs.

The college includes a KS3 and KS4 Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) which provides a range of high quality educational programmes helping to make positive changes in the lives of young people and ensuring the best possible educational outcomes. The Gateway is the College’s post 16 provision for young people who are not quite ready for a mainstream FE College. These provisions are on multiple sites across Slough.

Our dedicated staff team are highly skilled and committed to educating young people with some of the most challenging behaviours in the area.

We are looking for outstanding practitioners who are able to teach a range of subjects across the three key stages and across the Haybrook College sites:
• An English teacher (for the right candidate, there is the possibility of a TLR with whole College responsibility for English
• An ICT teacher
• A Class teacher to deliver the curriculum to a mixed group of KS3 pupils who are working below, at and above national expectations (ranging from Year 5 – Year 9). This role would suit a strong KS2 teacher.
• We would also welcome applications from teachers of other subjects who would be interested in teaching at Haybrook College.
