Visiting Music Teacher – Piano

Description:

With a department comprising of the Director of Music, seven full time staff and over 35 visiting music teachers, the Music School offers exceptional facilities and performance opportunities in the School as well as concerts in prestigious London venues and more locally in the community.

Christ’s Hospital has a flourishing piano department, which involves many students from within the music department. As well as individual tuition there are many opportunities to perform within the school including lunchtime and evening concerts throughout the year.

This position would suit a well-qualified and capable piano teacher, who has an enthusiasm for teaching and music as a whole within the framework of a large co-educational boarding school. It is important to have a creative and malleable teaching style in order to bring out the best in our pupils.

The role is part time, two days per week, with some flexibility available as to the day of work.
