Teacher of History
Location: Berkshire RG41 5BG
Working Pattern: Required for September 2017
Closing date: 10 March 2017
Reddam House is a co-educational, independent school that aspires to excellence in education for girls and boys from three months to 18 years old. The unique Reddam House philosophy and our formula for success are based to a large degree on the quality and depth of our curricula, cultural and sporting activities and especially our teaching staff, fully recognising that what goes on in the classroom between teacher and student strongly influences the success of the school.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic History practitioner to start from September 2017. The successful candidate must have the ability to inspire and challenge our pupils with their subject knowledge and passion for History, with the vision, commitment and determination to continue raising standards across all levels and abilities from KS3 to KS5 and further contribute to the progress of our pupils. They will be expected to teach throughout the Middle and Senior School and would therefore be a strong and flexible academic. Experience of teaching English at Key Stage Three, or willingness to, would be an advantage.
Accommodation may be made available in line with the School’s Accommodation Policy.
Closing date: Friday 10th March 2017
