Our mission is to provide a happy and secure learning environment underpinned by Christian values where the children are valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Burchetts Green C.E. Infant School is a voluntary controlled school. The school presently admits a maximum of 53 children from the term of their 5th birthday until the September following their 7th birthday.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection judged the school to be ´outstanding´. The report states:
´Burchetts Green is highly effective and gived good value for money. High quality for money. High quality teaching supported by a rich broad curriculum and a strong ethos of care and support means children achieve very well and reach high standards.´
We are very proud of this achievement which was made possible by staff, governors, parents and children working together to ensure that every child matters.
At Burchetts Green, we consider the education of the whole child is of prime importance. Each aspect of development; physical, intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and cultural is nurtured to help each child reach their full potential.
Attitudes to learning are established during the infant years laying the important foundations for education throughout the child\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s life. We aim to encourage self-confidence, self-respect and self-discipline through a broad range of experiences.
By the time a child is ready to leave Burchetts Green we aim, with parental support, to have encouraged the development of a self-motivated and competent seven year old who is eager to meet the new challenges of the future with confidence.
