\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Learning is for Life” – Churchmead builds on the strengths of the individuals to enable them to reach their full potential and become caring tolerant citizens of the future.
Churchmead C of E School maintains a broad, balanced and enriching curriculum, which is in accord with the National Curriculum requirements, through which students are encouraged to realise their full potential. Students are given every opportunity to improve their skills in the classroom, on the sports field and in the many other extra-curricular activities we offer. Teacher co-operation and student involvement help create a sound learning environment.
Churchmead endeavours to provide a broad and balanced curriculum which is personalised to the needs of each student in Years 7-13. Students of all abilities are well supported from those requiring additional support to those Gifted and Talented who require an extension programme. At Key Stage 4 there is an element of choice as to whether a student follows a Vocational Academic Pathway or a Traditional Academic Pathway. At KS5 Churchmead has a unique relationship with Slough Grammar School where we have a Compact arrangement for students to study courses at both schools.
