Wexham School is a learning community where staff engage in action research, which is a process that bridges the gap between academic theory and classroom practise to improve the experiences for our students. Action research generates genuine data, collected by staff and can result in sustained improvements in school. It provides teachers with new opportunities to reflect on their teaching; explore and test new ideas and methods; to assess how effective the new approaches were; to share feedback with colleagues; and to use these findings to inform future practise.
We are a good school where students make good or outstanding progress, teaching is good and well matched to student ability and leadership is strong and encourages staff to be accountable at all levels.
We can offer the opportunity to:
• make a real difference to children’s’ lives
• to work in a school where hard work and success is rewarded and recognised
• develop your personal potential through an excellent range of CPD opportunities.
Wexham School is a community where all members are nurtured and valued, enabling them to lay down the foundations for a happy and successful future. It is a place of excellence where our members can develop intellectually, morally, creatively and physically; experiment with new ideas and try out new technologies. It is a partnership founded on mutual respect between learners, parents, teachers, governors and the community as a whole. Everyone has a place in our community and together we will encourage excellence in all we do.
