Thinking for ourselves Acting for others Supporting as a family
At New Christ Church Primary governors, staff, parents and children work as a team, building on success, in an atmosphere of care where everyone feels valued.
We are proud of the high standards our pupils achieve across the curriculum.
Vision Statement: we aim to be:
A school where every learner develops the skills to:
• challenge them selves
• think for themselves
• work out what to do when they don’t know what to do.
By providing each child with exactly what they need to thrive we will nurture the progression of their unique gifts and talents, both academic and social
Our school family will be known for our big achievements, our big heart, our big community, and for the fun we have learning to learn.
We will develop the fruits of the spirit and guide each other to always act for others. In this way our family will produce happy young people who aspire to go on and change the world for the better.
Our Mission Statement: At New Christ Church School we strive to create a large family of children and adults supporting one another. Together with the Parish of Christ Church and the local community we celebrate our long history and achievements and strive for excellence in all that we do. We aim to provide a nurturing environment, based on Christian values, where all individuals are treated with fairness, respect and equality.
Whitley Excellence Cluster
We are proud to be a member of WEC, which is a cluster of local schools working together to reach excellence in all aspects of our schools work. We meet regularly with colleagues from other schools and children also take part in Cluster activities. Attached to WEC is the Apsire2 charity which raises money to provide enrichment activities for all children in the South Reading area.
