The Holt School

Our Mission Statement

To inspire all members of the Holt community by challenging them to maintain a safe and caring environment in which they achieve success whilst preparing for a future in an ever changing global society.

Since opening in 1931 the Holt school has been providing a first class education for girls in Wokingham. the combination of single sex education with traditional values and innovative approaches to learning ensure that the school maintains the highest reputation both locally and nationally.

The school aims to inspire all girls whilst challenging them to achieve their full potential. The Holt School does this by providing an exciting but caring and disciplined environment, in which staff set and expect the highest standards of behaviour and achievement from every student.

Every girl at the Holt school has the opportunity to excel within a well structured and supportive educational environment. A broad balanced curriculum enables each student to develop her academic strengths and personal talents. Professional and highly qualified teachers work with students to ensure each girl fulfills her potential.

The school is a highly inclusive community and places a premium on equality of opportunity” – Ofsted 2008
