Location: Maidenhead, SL6 6HQ

Salary: Salary range £18,959 - £20,292 pa (including contractual overtime)

Working Pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week + 3 hours contractual overtime
Hours of work: 7.30am - 4.30pm; Required for a fixed-term 6 month period commencing 19 April 2010

Description:

We are looking for a special person to join our hard working and caring team at Furze Platt Junior School. Our Site Controller is at the heart of our school community, so the ideal person will be friendly, reliable, trustworthy and passionate about caring for our school.

You will be hard working with good DIY skills in basic plumbing, carpentry and decorating. You should be able to prioritise workloads, take initiative and be able to effectively manage the work of cleaners and contractors. Most importantly, our school must be a safe and happy place for us all to learn, work and play.

The role will also include some ‘out of hours’ working for lettings, evening meetings and emergency call outs in the event of any security issues. For this reason, a full driving licence is desirable.
