Description:

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Head of English to teach across the full age and ability range at Key Stages 3 &4. The successful candidate will be a talented committed teacher of English who will lead a strong team delivering English Language and English Literature. They will also be responsible for leading literacy across the curriculum.

Churchmead has an accelerated curriculum where students begin their Key Stage 4 studies in year 9. English sits within the Specialist Arts Faculty.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with aspirations of becoming a Senior Leader in the future.

Churchmead is a small mixed 11-18 Church of England Specialist Art College, situated in the picturesque village of Datchet, serving Datchet, Horton, Wraysbury and the surrounding villages in Slough.
